General Questions
Simply send an email to info@myexcursions.com with the details of when you are traveling and what services you are looking for. If you need transfers, be sure to include flight and hotel details, ship name and dates & services required.
We offer excursions worldwide. If a destination or program is not being featured in our website, please let us know what you are looking for and we can provide information or suggestions.
All our programs are customized to meet your needs and parameters, so quotes are as unique as you are! You will receive an email quote with details of the requested programs and pricing.
MyExcursions is a boutique company offering personalized services. Each program must be created to meet your request so we do not provide online booking option.
Our website has an extensive selection of programs that can provide you ideas of what to see and do in each destination. Please email info@myexcurisons.com with your request for a quotation and booking.
All programs must be booked before travel commences. We suggest confirming as early as possible as services are often quoted on particular providers who may not be available close to travel dates. We can request service confirmations at any time, so take advantage of booking early to secure your desired programs. Requests inside 14 days may incur rush fees.
We do suggest you book through your travel advisor, who can verify ship’s port times or ensure that that your programs will work with your travel itinerary. Your travel advisor can assist in answering any questions you may have and will also be able to print your vouchers for you. For those of you who do not have access to email must work through your travel adviser.
Final description and vouchers will be sent once services are paid in full and all details are reconfirmed by our operators and your travel advisor.
Meet location details are provided on the voucher and the description. If you have any difficulty locating your driver or guide on the day, call the local help number on your voucher. Or you can call MyExcursions, but this would not be as expedient as calling the local number as we will have to then contact the operator and relay information to them.
Gratuities are not included unless specified on your final program and voucher. Gratuities are usually left at the discretion of each guests to tip based on the quality of service received. There is no set percentage, but if you have need to inquire about a specific port, please email us.
We strongly suggest trip cancellation insurance through your travel advisor or MyExcursions. Cruise line insurance does not cover independent programs. Terms and conditions are provided with each quote and refunds are based upon the date of cancellation from commencement of travel.
If you are already traveling and your ship will be missing an upcoming port, or any other emergency situation that will affect an upcoming program, you are required to contact the local emergency contact number provided on your voucher and also to notify MyExcursions.com of any such situations.
In most cases we can obtain a refund from our operators. However if cancellation is within 24 hours, there may be some cancellation penalties as services are already ‘in motion’. MyExcursions will work with our local operator to obtain a full refund or refund with the minimum cancellation fees. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended for services and delayed or missed port is a covered reason.
You should email info@myexcursions.com at your first opportunity to notify us of the circumstances. You can also reach us via the office iPhone 1 (954) 972-6306. This number can receive texts and WhatsApp messages. Calls are monitored at night, but email and texts may not be read overnight. If you do reach voice mail, however, please leave a detailed message with a call back number if you have a working mobile phone with you.
All our programs will be scheduled to return to the port at least one hour prior to ship’s sailing time. Should you be delayed on your return to the port, have your driver or guide contact their office so they may be able to contact the ship’s port agent to advise them of your delayed return. In all the 14+ years we have been operating, no guest has ever missed the ship due to a late return.
As you travel, you will very often cross time zones. All MyExcursions departure times are listed in “Local Time”. This means the trip begins according to the time zone of the port you are visiting. Some cruise lines change their clocks on board ship to reflect the local time, others do not. In addition, some islands and ports observe Daylight Savings Time, while others stay on Standard Time. You can determine what the local time will be compared with your port of departure by checking on www.worldtimeserver.com
Typically our tours are provided in English. If you do have other language requirements, please advise at the time of booking and we can check availability of guides for non-English speaking guests. Guide services may be at a higher price for languages other than English. Note all our descriptions and documentation is available only in English.

All visitors to Russia must be in possession of a Russian Tourist Visa, however this requirement is waived for MyExcursions.com guests of all nationalities while they are participating on one of our Programs. You will not require a visa to go ashore while participating on our tour, please note however that if you wish to go ashore while not participating on one our programs then you must be in possession of valid Russian Tourist Visa.
You can proceed ashore with the following documents:

No. You need to check with your travel adviser or cruise line regarding visa requirements for any upcoming cruise. U.S. Citizens typically must obtain individual visas for certain countries. Be sure to check with your cruise line or travel advisor regarding visa requirements. In some cases, you may need multiple entry visas. Cruise lines often obtain blanket visas for guests to go ashore – some lines charge guests for these visas. Russia, Egypt, Vietnam fall into this category for example.
If flying into or out of a country where you need a visa, this must typically be obtained in advanced or on arrival. You must check with your cruise line or travel advisor to verify your exact visa requirements. Your passport must also be valid for 6 months beyond your return home date.
Where blanket visas are issued, check with us as we are in some cases able to provide these as part of our tour service – such as in Russia and Vietnam and Egypt.
